Baking your own bread, especially sourdough, has undergone a bit of a renaissance in the last few years. There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread to get the tastebuds tingling and whet the appetite.
Home-baked sourdough tastes better than shop-bought bread, lasts longer, is easier to digest, is free from additives and is a great source of natural vitamins and minerals.
Here at the Manor House Hotel’s restaurant, our Head Chef Gerard McCluskie always has batches of sourdough on the go on constant refresh so that we can always give our diners delicious freshly baked bread to start their meals.
