Manor House Awarded Taste Our Best Award

The Manor House Hotel has recently been awarded Visit Scotland’s Taste Our Best award for 2016/17.

Manor House Hotel Oban Taste Our Best Award 2016-17The award recognises and celebrates businesses providing locally sourced quality food and drink and who are committed to serving quality Scottish produce, prepared with care and delivered with passion.

The criteria for attaining this quality assurance for food is:

  • Quality ingredients of Scottish provenance
  • Fresh, seasonal produce
  • Locally sourced food
  • Minimal food miles
  • Information on where the food has come from
  • Friendly staff who know all about the origins of the food served
  • At least 40 percent of the Scottish produce served is highlighted on the hotel’s menu
