The train service linking Glasgow and Oban has increased from three to six trains a day in each direction.
This is great news for visitors to Oban who now have more flexibility to travel up from Glasgow for the day to enjoy the huge variety of activities Oban has to offer.
The first morning train leaves Oban at 5.21am and arrives in Glasgow at 8.37am. Glasgow’s first morning train to Oban departs Glasgow Queen Street Station at 5.20am arriving in Oban around 8.30am.
With the addition of a new later evening service leaving Oban at 8.37pm, visitors to the town now have even more time to explore Oban or even further afield to Mull, Iona and Staffa.
